I have no idea why, but it ticks me off when people say “eye-rack” when referring to Iraq. People, stop being so ignorant and pronounce it correctly. It’s pronounced like “ee-rock”.
I know it’s just a pronunciation and it may not be a big deal to people, if anyone at all. But, it shows how ignorant Americans are to foreign countries.
I’m sure if I went around pronouncing Illinois like “ill-uh-noise” instead of “ill-uh-noi”, people would get on my case and tell me to say it correctly. C’mon, America. Step up your education level.
Poreotics are numbah one in my books. I’ve probably wasted 80% of my time on YouTube in the past few months watching/re-watching their videos.
