Ever since I got here on campus, my laptop has been freezing then crashing every 5 minutes it’s on. I can’t do anything on it.
My phone is stupid. How is it gonna change “gym” to “gum”. Is “gym” no longer a word?
Back @ 'Cuse
Gotta admit…at first I wanted summer vacation to last longer. Now, I’m looking forward to a fun new school year.
A lot of my recent posts have been about me ranting about how much I’m annoyed by something (which is mostly people yelling and talking loudly). So, I’ll pull a 180 and put up a list of things that make me smile/comforted/the happy stuff… Laughing when times are good (unless you have an annoying laugh. Everyone knows a person who does. It normally sounds like you wanna punch...
I always put my playlists on shuffle. I like the surprise of what’s next. Who doesn’t? Anyways, I think it’s kind of sad I don’t even know the name of some of the songs I have. I’m listening and then out of nowhere, a nice beat comes on and I’m like “Oooh, what’s this song?” only to be reminded I’m listening to my own playlist. Fail.
if historical events had facebook statuses
jaywykay: hahaha this stuff is golden The John Hancock picture got me laughing.

A Higher Love
I was going over old Facebook notes and came across the poems I wrote for Lent in ‘09. I chose to change one my favorite ones a bit (ya know, to improve it). — Just when you think there’s no one there for you Everybody putting on a fake smile Silently, you trudge on through Unknowingly going on for over a mile Struggling to find open arms to cry into Luckily, there’s a...
Day 30 - Who are you?
Nice, I finished this 30 day challenge. Not gonna do another one for a while. Who am I? Let’s finish this off in bullet points because I like bullet points. I’m Stanley Huang (pronounced Wong cause it’s supposed to be romanized as Wong. Huang is the mandarin way of saying/spelling it). I’m your average Asian-American guy. I play sports and video games. Exciting. ...
Day 29 - In this past month, what have you learned
What have I learned? I learned working in retail isn’t as cool as I thought it was. Then again, I wanted to work in a clothing store like AE or something like that. I learned that people from other countries are pretty dumb. The ones that come into Toys R Us at least. I suppose I can speak to strangers better now. I can strike up a conversation with a customer while ringing their items...
I don’t care if it received the “Orange Prize for Fiction” and the “PEN/Faulkner Award for Fiction”. I don’t care that it’s on “Amazon’s Best Books of 2001”. I don’t like it. The beginning is like watching grass grow. Sure, terrorists interrupt in the beginning…but it’s horribly slow paced. When I do read a book, I...
What grinds my gears | Ep. 2
You know what really grinds my gears? Middle aged Chinese people on the subway. This goes hand in hand with what I said on the last “What grinds my gears” post. Why oh WHY do we scream at each other when we’re right next to each other. It’s worse for Chinese people because Cantonese sounds like an angry language. We could be talking about how nice the weather feels and to a...
Day 27 - Why are you doing this 30 day challenge
This will be by far my most boring post, ever. Answer: Because I wanted to. The End.
Day 26 - What you think about your friends
I’m glad I have the friends I do. I can be stupid with them. I can be myself with them. I don’t have to be afraid of making dumb first impressions because they are just as lame as me ha! I can trust the friends I talk to a lot with anything and I can tell them whatever is on my mind. My “family pan” are my friends I’ve known since I was in kindergarten/first grade. I...
This is one of my favourite jokes ever. (Taken...
kitkat22491: viviixiao: lavina-loves: helonmelon: quanya: saysummer: onthewing: infatuatedwithneon: My job is so fucking unbelievable. I’ll try to sum it up by first telling you about the folks I work with: First, there is this supermodel wanna-be chick. Yeah, okay, she is pretty hot, but damn is she completely useless. The girl is constantly fixing her hair or putting on make-up....
What grinds my gears
You know what really grinds my gears? When you’re sitting there on the subway listening to your music and you have some obnoxious assholes in the same car as you screaming at each other. They’re not angry or anything. They’re right next to each other and instead of talking like normal people, they yell their lungs off. Are you afraid the person sitting right next to you...
Day 25 - What I would find in your bag
Sorry, but I’m a guy. Guys do the 3-pocket-check. If you’re a girl who’s unfamiliar with the term or a guy who isn’t a guy, then here’s what you’ll need for the 3-pocket-check: Wallet Phone Keys *One of the items may vary sometimes. May not always be exactly wallet/phone/keys but it’s pretty much always 3 things. Brought to my attention through...
Day 24 - A letter to your parents
Dear parentals, Please get new hooks for the bathroom. One of them keeps falling off the wall. I’d much prefer we have hooks nailed into the wall, not stuck on. Thanks. From your son, Stanley
Where is my mind?: Biters →
chasingsilhouettes: <Anonymous> Now, I’m sure many of you have encountered little shits in supermarkets. Little kids running about and knocking things over, being rude, walking all over their parents, you know the kind. But the worst are the biters. Yes, those little cunts that feel it is okay to bite you whenever…
Let's get something straight
Just because you know how to take pictures of random stuff (like a closeup shot of your keys) does not make you a “skilled photographer”. So stop spouting out that you have ill “photography skills”. This isn’t directed towards any one in particular.
Oatmeal raisin cookies really hit the spot
Day 22 - What makes you different from everyone...
I’m not that unique. I do things a lot of guys do. Play sports, video games, etc. Let’s see… My favorite animal is a hippopotamus. Try to find another person who has the same favorite animal. I actually wore orange before going to Syracuse. I like cracking jokes. A lot. Sometimes it becomes just too excessive. I like dark, twisted stories/movies. Not horror movies. Those are...
